Biophilic Architecture

My university design project focused on biophilic architecture, exploring the deep connection between nature and the built environment. This personal project is something I am incredibly passionate about, as it combines my love for design, nature, and community engagement.
The project emphasizes integrating natural elements into architectural design to create spaces that enhance well-being and foster a strong sense of community. I was particularly inspired by vernacular architecture and local crafts, incorporating these traditional techniques to create a harmonious blend of old and new.
This project also provided a strong foundation for my dissertation on the aesthetics of sustainability. Through my research, I examined how sustainable design can be visually appealing while promoting environmental responsibility. My work demonstrated how biophilic design can improve the quality of life by reconnecting people with nature, promoting sustainability, and preserving cultural heritage.
It is a testament to my belief that thoughtful, context-sensitive design can bring communities together and create meaningful, lasting impacts.
